Adding Clickable Buttons to Custom Screens
One of the most powerful features in Onespot is the ability to add clickable buttons to custom screens, allowing users to interact with different actions directly within the app. These buttons can perform various functions, such as opening a website, making a phone call, starting an instant chat, or navigating to another screen within the app.
To get started, you simply add a new item and select Button. From there, you can choose from different button types:
- Web Link – This allows you to link to an external web page. Simply enter the URL, adjust the button design (size, position, and color), and give it a title.
- Call Button – This feature enables users to call a specified phone number. After selecting Call as the action, enter the phone number, customize the design, and save.
- Instant Chat – You can add an instant chat button that automatically opens a chat with a specific person. Customize the button by giving it a title (e.g., "Message Taylor"), and when selected, it will open a direct chat thread.
- Navigate to Screen – This option allows you to link a button to another section of your app. For example, you can create a button labeled "Events" that redirects users to the event calendar.
Once your button is configured and saved, users can easily interact with it, enhancing the navigation and functionality of your app. Whether it’s linking to important pages, initiating quick communication, or providing seamless access to different sections, clickable buttons make the OneSpot app more dynamic and user-friendly. 🚀
Adding Text
When creating a custom screen in your app, you can easily add headers and text to enhance the user experience. By including clear headings, you can structure content effectively, making it easier for users to navigate and understand key information. Text elements allow you to provide detailed descriptions, instructions, or announcements, ensuring that your app remains informative and engaging. Whether you’re building an interactive menu, a welcome screen, or an informational page, adding text is a simple yet powerful way to customize your app and make it more user-friendly.
Adding Images
Adding images to your custom screens enhances the visual appeal and functionality of your app. In Onespot, there are two primary ways to incorporate images. The first method allows you to upload an image directly from your phone, making it quick and convenient to personalize your app with photos, graphics, or logos. The second method provides additional customization options, enabling you to integrate images from other sources for a more tailored design. Whether you're building an engaging landing page, showcasing event photos, or creating visually appealing content, adding images helps bring your app to life.
Adding Videos
Adding videos to your custom screens is a simple and effective way to enhance engagement and provide dynamic content. To add a video, you just need to create a new item, select the video option, and choose from multiple upload formats. You can integrate videos from YouTube, Vimeo, or upload files directly from your computer or phone. Additionally, you can use a specific file URL for greater flexibility. Once you've selected a video source, you can easily update the video by changing the URL, allowing you to manage and customize content effortlessly. After saving, your video will appear seamlessly within your app, providing users with an enriched multimedia experience.
Duplicating a Custom Screen
