Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Default Portal Configurations


Step 1: Access Default Portals

  1. Open your Onespot Admin Panel.
  2. Click the Lightning Bolt Icon and navigate to Administrative Superpowers.
  3. Select Default Portals.

Step 2: Set Up the Default Home Screen Layout

  • The current home screen arrangement will automatically be set as the default layout for new users.
  • If you rearrange the home screen, future members will see the new layout when they join.

Step 3: Customize Portal Layout by Account Type (Optional)

  1. Enable separate default portals for different account types.
  2. Assign customized home screens based on user roles:
    • Employees: Display a Feedback Form, internal resources, and staff tools.
    • Parents: Prioritize news, events, and contact options.
    • Students: Highlight assignments, schedules, and classroom resources.
  3. Click Save, and the app will automatically adjust new users' portals based on their account type.
