Invoicing a student in your Onespot app is quick and seamless. By assigning a parent or guardian as a payment profile, you can directly bill them for tuition, fees, or custom products using Onespot Payments.
🧑💼 Step-by-Step Guide
Open Administrative Superpowers
Head to your app’s admin panel (Lightning Bolt icon) and select All Children.
Assign a Payment Profile
- Find the child (e.g., Zac Efron).
- Under their profile, locate the parent info (imported from Transparent Classroom).
Assign a payment profile by searching for and selecting the appropriate parent or payer (e.g., JB).
Bill the Child
- Navigate to the Bill Someone section.
- Search for the child (e.g., Zac Efron) and confirm that the assigned payment profile appears.
Select Continue.
Choose a Billing Item
Pick the item to bill for (e.g., Monthly Tuition).
Decide whether to:
- Charge Automatically (if a payment method is on file), or
Send Invoice (for manual payment).
Apply Discounts and Set Timing
- Add any relevant discounts (e.g., employee discounts).
Choose a start and end date for the charge or subscription.
Send the Invoice
- Click Bill to generate and send the invoice.
- The parent will receive a notification and can complete the payment through their app.
