Managing and Communicating with App Members in Onespot

In Onespot, you can easily view, filter, and communicate with all members using the All Members section. This feature allows administrators to track user activity, manage permissions, and send direct messages—all from a single dashboard.

Step-by-Step Guide to Managing Members in Onespot

Step 1: Access the All Members Section

1. Open your Onespot Admin Panel.
2. Click the Lightning Bolt Icon → All Members.
3. Here, you’ll see a list of all users in your app, including:
   • Total number of active users.
   • Last login timestamps.
   • Push notification status.
   • Contact details (if available).

Step 2: Filter Members by Group

You can narrow down users based on:

✅ User roles (e.g., Parents, Teachers, Staff).

✅ Custom groups (e.g., PTA members, sports teams).

✅ Admin vs. Non-Admin status.

📌 Example:

• If you need to find only parents, you can apply a parent filter to view just those users.

Step 3: Send Messages to Specific Members

1. Click on a user’s name to open their profile.
2. View details such as last login, push notification status, and phone number.
3. Click Send Message to send them a direct in-app message.
4. The message will appear in their Onespot inbox for easy access.

• Want to message Taylor Swift? Just click on her profile and send a message like:

  “Hey, great concert!” 🎵

Step 4: Grant Administrative Superpowers

1. Select a user’s profile from the All Members list.
2. Scroll down and toggle Admin Permissions.
3. Assign admin privileges to allow them to manage content, send push notifications, or edit the app.

Step 5: Export Member Data

• If you need to download a list of all app users, simply click Export.
• This will generate a CSV file containing user details, which can be used for reports, email lists, or contact management.
